This project involved designing an Irish pub in Medford, Massachusetts, inspired by authentic Dublin-style establishments. The design team traveled to Dublin to gather references, ensuring the space embodied the character and atmosphere of a traditional Irish pub.
The interior features a warm, inviting aesthetic with dark wood paneling, exposed brick walls, and vintage lighting fixtures that echo the charm of historic pubs in Ireland. Custom-designed shelving displays a curated selection of bottles behind the bar, adding depth and a touch of authenticity. The layout includes a mix of intimate seating arrangements, a long bar with high stools, and communal tables to foster a sense of community.
Attention to detail extended to the outdoor seating area, which blends seamlessly with the pub's overall style, offering a comfortable and atmospheric space for patrons to enjoy.
